Well,
Herllo mi familia.
Went to the hospital this week.
Doesn't that sound dramatic?
It is. Basically, I woke up in pain and tried to wait it out, but didn't work.
Called DR. Dye and asked him what to do. He had me lie down and push on myself because he can only talk on the phone with us. Anyways. He said this pain could be two rare diseases or something unrelated completely. They two diseases are one where you bowels fold over on each other and the folding is what is causing the pain, or it could be the appendage that is attached to the appendix, it could be filling and exposing the vains to the front of my stomach, therefore, causing pain.
Anyways, he said that if the pain didnt subside, I should go to the hospital to get it checked out. And Hermana Hinckley called and said that she would prefer that I got to the hospital if the pain doesn't subside. And it didn't. So... My companion and I went to the office and waited for a while to have the Lunds come back from an apartment inspection. So, Long story short, they didn't make it back in time and we had to go without them. Elder Atkin, Secretary to the president, has a credit card that we needed to use to pay for the bill. Anyways, went to the hospital, and when I was called back to go back to the back room, all four of us got up and the nurse said that only one of them could come with me. Elder Atkin suggested that he go, we don't think he really knew what was going to happen. I asked that Hermana Church could go with me. My companion, first off, translater, second. Because yes, this was all in spanish. So ended up being that Hermana Church came with me. Thank Heavens. HA AH HA HA A. Anyways. They did the basic ER procedures of taking my blood and doing a ultrasound. And I found out that I am not pregnant!!! I was soooo worried about this one. But the test were unconclusive and they suggested that I go to a specialist. I have an appointment for next monday. Sooo we will see. They gave me some medicin that I think is equivalent to morphine. So I am not taking that. But yeah. I wasn't going to tell you. Please don't worry about me.
I think I got better treatment here in Spain with my mission family that I did when I was at home with y'all. Everybody is so good here and they are so loving.
The working is going. We are having progress with the wife of Juan. Silvia is her name. She told us the otherday that as soon as her and Juan get married, they will be baptised. This was on Saturday and she came to church for the first time on Sunday!!! YEah, we are seeing success. We have a baptism scheduled for the 29th of this month. Pray for her. Her name is Jessica and she is leaving her "husband" that she is not married to, to be baptised. I'm sure I have said this before, but I am always amazed at what people will do to become members of this true gospel.
I love working with people and watch the atonement work in their lives the same way that it has worked in mine. What a blessing! I have the BEST JOB in the WORLD! I can't tell you how much I love this work.
Side note: When I was trying to get my pain sorted, I thought about how much I wanted to go home. And then I realized, that I really would rather be nowhere else. It is hard, because sometimes, I am in big pain. But, I know that my heavenly father loves me just as much as he loves my investigators and he is showing that to me. I know that things will be alright and I know that it is important for me to see this specialist because they might be able to help me.
I love you all,
I am fine
I have a great mission, mission president, and mission president's wife!!
and Missionaries, and Dad, they All want to be here. I keep thinking about how crazy that is. They all want to preach the gospel and share what heavenly father desires for others.
I love this
